WHO DIS

Hey! My name is Hallie.
I say "homegurll" way more than the average white, Mormon girl, I always have my water bottle with me (I chug water unusually fast) and I can make any three year old laugh.

I grew up in the lush, beautiful, green, heavenly, ANGELIC land of Montana, but I married a Utah boy so here I am in Utah! I'd do anything for this cute boy.

See: Utah Boy

I'm one of THOOOSEEEE GIRLLLSSS who got married at 19 and lemme tell you, it's the best. We're should be the face of young marriage - we're so cool and hot!!!! Read our story. It's juicy.

After I got married I decided I needed a good excuse to drop out of college (lol) so I followed my dreams of becoming a photographer and here I am!!! Holler @ your girl. Catch me in 3 years doing destination weddings and traveling all around the world. 0% kidding. And that's just the start...photography is a passion I completely chose for myself. I have a lot more to achieve with time.

I believe in words and their healing powers.

I have been blessed by the thrifting gods - I got skills. Mom jeans and graphic tees are my drug of choice.

I am very good at not treating strangers like strangers.

I am extremely aware of my emotions - aka, I am a very emotional person and proud of it!!

I am always, always passionate about something. Ask me about my latest passion and I'll give it to ya straight.

I made this blog because I have always felt like words are my thing - my gift. And what's a gift if you don't share it? Also...my grandma told me I'm a good writer so HELLO?? Time to blog!

BUT IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT ME  (don't tell my husband I know how to say that HAHAHA) -  I want to talk about the important things with other people who are living life and struggling just like I am! I want to teach things I have learned, but I also want and need and strive to learn. My life is always under construction. I want to send off what I want to receive in the world - empowering messages.

So let's chat.

xoxo

About 6 months ago I decided I needed a really good excuse to drop out of college, so I chose to pursue one of my 567 dreams which is PHOTOGRAPHY. I found a job at a photography studio here in Utah where I was trained and put to work. I work magic (I also work my butt off).  Because I am a family photographer, I feel entitled to talk to any cute kid I ever see. It's kind of creepy. I need to stop.

Photography is only where the creativity begins with me. I am a closet singer songwriter - I have a recording studio in my house. I have been blessed by the thrifting gods; mom jeans are my drug of choice!!!!

If I could be anywhere in the world it would be in Montana with my family and my dog and my chacos. Ahh. Yes.

I made this blog because I just have a lot to say and I AM DESPERATE TO SHARE. I realized I was trying to fit way too much about myself into my instagram captions and my small talk with strangers.
